Event Journal

Wow, it's been a long time since we have written a journal entry!  First off a few dogs left our kennel this spring.  Viper went to live with Jaye Foucher.  We think he will be an excellent addition to her team.  Stryder went to live with Gwen Ross in Canada.  He is doing very well and Gwen seems really taken by him.   Myst went to live with former kennel mate Fury in NJ.  We think she will excel on Jessica's team, and can't wait to see what she does for her this upcoming season.

We attended our annual eye clinic with Swift, Bongo & Rainy.  Unfortunately Bongo has a tiny cataract in one eye but the good thing is it's very small and won't affect her vision.   We bred her to Skor before we could get her eyes done and she had 8 wonderful pups.  We decided to place them all in pet/recreational running homes where they would all be spayed/neutered.  That was a very tough decision, but we feel it was the right one.

Rainy's boys are growing up very nicely.  We are very fond of this litter and how they are maturing so far.  They have the best personalities and are loads of fun.  Snitch has lovely type and movement and will possibly one we try to show.  Lumos matches him in type and movement but is too tall so can't go in the show ring.  Sirius is handsome and the obedience star so far.  Lumos & Sirius are the two dogs we are attending beginner obedience with.  Seeker had a small zinc issue as a puppy but now is fully over it and doing great.  He will be attending handling class soon with Snitch so they can get out and get socialized.  Our other puppy Brady is also doing well.  He really reminds us of both his parents, but probably more of his mom Kadee. 

We found a 'new'  Chevy dog truck, needs some work but will look great once it's finished.  We decided the other one was getting old and falling apart in spots so it was time for a more reliable truck.  Looking forward to making some improvements on our new dog box as well!
