Friday we did a nice 10 mile run. Karen and
Tara took another 14 dog team out. I took out a 12 dog team
again. We had another spectacular run. Half way through the
run Karen decided to try Ivring in head with Q and Irving was a
star!! After we put the dogs away we got ready to run a puppy
team. It was great to see Surge run lead. Charge ran lead with
his dad and was doing great until he decided girls were more
interesting than running. After 2 attempts at romancing Banshee
and Minto he was moved to wheel and Runner was promoted to
lead. He did amazing! Made me sort of sad I don't have Runner
but I can't wait to see what he does for Karen! It was Wonder's
first run and she did pretty well. The pups all did well,
especially Shooter, Banshee, Wifi, Nate, Rocket and Comet.
Mark wanted to take us girls out to Edmonton mall for dinner and
a movie, of course we said yes!! The first thing we did was go
to the drug store to get me some cough medicine, boy did I need
it! After that we went to see 3:10 To Yuma. It was a great
movie! Then we went to Earls for dinner, it was good! What a
neat restaurant too. Friday night I was finally getting over my
cold and feeling human again. Thank goodness!!
