Just when we were ready to give up on Rainy's summer litter she came into heat! We had a hard time picking a stud for her, but decided to send her to Karen Ramstead's to be bred to NorthWapiti's Q. Ultrasound comfirms at least 5 puppies due Sept 2! We are so excited!

Every year we attend beginner obedience class. This year we decided to work with Myst & Flutie. Both turned out to be really good at obedience. We hope to get their CGC tests later this summer.

We also leased Myst to Jaye Foucher of Sibersong Siberians. She was bred to Dodge's brother, Anthem. Can't tell if she is pregnant yet, but we are crossing our fingers! Both Rainy & Myst should be back in harness by mid October.

We cannot wait to get training again! This year we have 13 dogs starting fall training. Once we get on sleds we will have 12 to run. Holly is having a tougher time as she gets older keeping up with the rest of the dogs on sleds. We still want to train her in the fall to keep her in shape. She said she isn't ready to fully retire yet!! :)
