About Striker...
We never wanted a Smoke, but when we saw
Striker at 12 wks it was love at first sight. Striker is a
big, gentle mush who loves attention and is quite the
talker. He is our largest male who in his prime topped the
scales at 18 lbs - but we think maybe the bigger they are
the wimpier they are? ;) He is a little nervous at shows,
but handles well (thank goodness!)
Striker has the perfect Maine Coon body in our
eyes, he is very solid with good boning and a heafty
frame. He has a nice coat with a very nice ruff and has
excellent color. Many judges comment on how nice his
color is for a smoke, very white, clear undercoat with a
very black outer coat. Striker also has a very square
muzzle with good length to it, nice shaped eyes, a nice
clean profile with just the right amount of curve and a
good chin, he has good sized ears set pretty high on his
head.For 4 years he was our main stud cat. It
was a very tough decision but we altered him April 2007
to let him have a great pet life. He always gave
us great, healthy kittens and we are very happy he was
one of our first main stud cats!
