On May 21st, Tacoma whelped 8 pups; 7 males and 1 female. The female, last one out was the tiniest and we knew this one would be problems. All sorts of manipulations in feeding regimens were tried including regular additional bottle feeding with goats milk, all to no avail. To date, 6/6/07, there are 7 remaining healthy males. The difficulties Tacoma had in rearing her first litter are of a by-gone time and maternal instincts are well intact. This is Tacoma's last litter.
